My passion, my devotion in life, is teaching the technology of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation and the yogic principles for all people to be healthy, happy, and whole!

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation consists of simple yogic techniques that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter age or physical ability. You’ll do breath work, dynamic yoga, chanting (the use of sound as an exercise for the body and mind), deep relaxation, and meditation to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally. You’ll experience your highest consciousness so you can find sacred purpose in your life. 

Meet Atma

Atma Kaur Khalsa has been enjoying teaching and practicing Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, since 1977.  She has over 45 years of experience practicing and teaching and has instructed thousands of adults, teens, and children.  

Atma’s yoga journey started at the age of 10 (1970) after having back surgery for a herniated disk, leading to a lifetime love of yoga and its amazing science and applications for healthy body, mind, and spirit.  She is grateful to have personally trained with Yogi Bhajan, the master of Kundalini Yoga, as well as many experts in yogic and Ayurvedic practices.  

Atma holds a Biology, B.S. degree and is KRI certified in Kundalini Yoga & Meditation and Radiant Child Yoga Levels 1-3.  She is also a Soul Answer Healer, a 800+ hour yoga therapy certification, and is an ordained Sikh minister.  

Atma lives in Newport News with her husband and two children – a family of animal, music, art and nature lovers!  They each incorporate some aspect of yoga and meditation into their lives as well as the heart of Sikh Dharma ~ deeply respecting all people’s journey of life in love and equality.
